The Anatomy of an Elite Squad: What Coaches Need on Their 12-Man Roster

Every school on the Top 10 shortlist has a basketball story. The team profile is where that story gets told - to the selection committee, to fans and, after December, to anyone looking for the next generation of South African talent.

The squad

Each school registers up to 12 players. For every player, coaches load the jersey number, full name, position, date of birth, nationality, height and graduation year. Those details power the public player profile and the stat card each player can download and share.

Beyond the basics

A team crest, a team photo and the coaching staff complete the picture. Profiles show a completeness score, so coaches can see at a glance what is still missing.

Why it matters

Every game at Mandeville is recorded in a FIBA-style box score. Points, rebounds, assists and more feed straight into each player's profile - and those profiles stay live long after the final buzzer.
